XingYan Chen

XingYan joined the Princeton University Department of Physics in August 2024. As a Dicke Fellow, he works with Prof. Lawrence Cheuk, studying ultracold polar molecules and their applications in simulating many-body phenomena. Before joining Princeton, he received his Ph.D. from the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics under the supervision of Dr. Xin-Yu Luo and Prof. Immanuel Bloch. His research pioneered the control of ultracold polar molecules using microwaves, as well as the realization of field-linked resonances and the creation of ultracold tetratomic molecules.
