Tiancheng Song

Tiancheng joined Princeton University Department of Physics in September 2021. As a Dicke Fellow, he works with Prof. Sanfeng Wu, studying topology, superconductivity, and their interplay in 2D quantum materials and devices.

Before joining Princeton, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington under the supervision of Prof. Xiaodong Xu. His research explored several emergent phenomena in magnetic van der Waals heterostructures, such as giant tunneling magnetoresistance effect, moiré magnetism, pressure tuning and electrical control of 2D magnetism, and spin-photovoltaic effect using optical and electrical measurement techniques.
