Symposium on Quantum Information, Complexity, and the Physical World
Monday, December 5, 2022 - Princeton University
Workshop on Spacetime and Quantum Information
Tuesday & Wednesday, December 6-7, 2022 - Institute for Advanced Study
Program Organizers:
Scott Aaronson, University of Texas at Austin
Juan Maldacena, Institute for Advanced Study
Alex Maloney, McGill University
Herman Verlinde, Princeton University (Organizer Monday Symposium)
The Monday symposium at Princeton will emphasize the cross-disciplinary links between quantum information science, quantum computing, and quantum aspects of spacetime. The symposium will take place in person and via Zoom.
The workshop at IAS will focus on quantum aspects of spacetime by applying ideas and concepts from quantum information theory. The workshop will take place in person and via Zoom.
