Matthew Komor is a Senior Machinist in the Physics Machine Shop and is responsible for machining, welding, and fabricating components for the Physics Department. Collaborating with students and professors to meet the needs of their research experiments. His role as a Senior Machinist also helps to support multiple departments on campus.

Prior to joining the Physics staff in 2010. Matthew worked in the automotive industry as an automotive machinist and engine builder. He enjoys going to car shows and spending time outdoors with his two children.
