Julio Lopez is the Stockroom Technician, responsible for fulfilling fabrication requests and purchasing a variety of materials for the general and metal stockrooms, including gases, lab supplies, and stationery. He is the primary custodian of capital assets, maintaining records for equipment inside and outside of Jadwin Hall. Julio also supports the Physics student and machine shops, faculty, staff, students and other university departments. He serves as the department videographer and provides assistance for special lectures and events. Julio also acts as a backup for shipping and receiving.
Julio began working at Princeton University in 2015 as the Logistics Assistant for Physics as a temporary staffed employee. He proved himself to be an integral part of the organization and worked his way to his current, permanent, role. Julio has an AAS in Diesel Technology from The University of Northwestern Ohio.
