Bio/Description

Brenda Zanghi is the Grants Manager handling and managing pre and post award.  She assists faculty, research staff, and graduate students with research proposal submission and post-award administration.  She has experience with proposal submission to federal, corporate, industrial, and private sponsors, as well as on-line agency submission systems.  Brenda partners with university departments and centers to provide high-quality and coordinated research administrative services.  She is an advocate for proactive, responsive, and effective research administration processes, and will educate university faculty and staff regarding institutional processes.  She currently supports Professors Robert Austin, William Bialek, Frank Calaprice, Curtis Callan, Cristiano Galbiati, Thomas Gregor, Andrew Leifer, Peter Meyers (DS), Jason Puchalla and Joshua Shaevitz. 

Brenda started her Princeton University career in 2002 in the Psychology Department.  She moved on to become part of the Office of Research and Project Administration team as a Sponsored Research Specialist from 2003 - 2011 and as the Shared Grants Manager from 2014 – 2018.  In between that time, she moved on to become the Business Manager in the Princeton Institute for the Science and Technology of Materials (PRISM).  Prior to Princeton, Brenda spent over 18 years working in the Insurance industry and five years in the New Jersey Public School District.
