recognized in the name of a new mineral: Steinhardtite.
The mineral is described in an announcement from the International Mineralogical Association and
is described in a forthcoming paper in the American Mineralogist entitled "Steinhardtite, a new body-centered-cubic allotropic form of aluminum from the Khatyrka CV3 carbonaceous chondrite," by the international team of
