Congratulations to Yuliya Dovzhenko for winning the 2012 LeRoy Apker Award.

Yuliya worked with Prof. Jason Petta and is currently a graduate student in physics at Harvard.

The award recognizes "outstanding achievements in physics by undergraduate students...who have demonstrated great potential for future scientific accomplishment."

One Apker Award is given annually by the APS to undergraduates from Ph.D. granting institutes.
