Ilya won the Dodds Fellowship for his work on Weyl fermion semimetals and quantum anomalies with Zahid Hasan. Grisha won the Myhrvold-Havranek Innovative Thinking Fellowship for his work on Quantum Field Theory with Simone Giombi, Igor Klebanov and Alexander Polyakov.

Congratulations to Haw Yang, Joshua Shaevitz and Sabine Petry for receiving Eric and Wendy Schmidt funding to develop a new type of microscope for viewing living cells in 3-D to address key mechanistc questions about how cells function and learn more about the cellular missteps that lead to cancer, birth defects and other disorders.
