A message from Carol Williams - Associate CIO Service Management Office, Princeton University
The last few weeks have brought about a number of changes in how we work, live, and support one another. As we adjust to working remotely, we want to offer a tool to help support your work and collaboration with several campus units. If you have requested technology services in the past, or searched the Knowledge Base for answers, you are likely familiar with the Princeton Service Portal. If you visit today, you will see additional services from more departments and a refreshed, easier-to-use design.
The Princeton Service Portal
The Princeton Service Portal adds to the personalized and relationship-based service that defines us at Princeton by providing complementary ways for you to find quick answers to your questions, submit requests for services, and gain insight into the status of your inquiries. In addition to the services of the Office of Information Technology (OIT), the portal now includes select services from departments in:
• Finance and Treasury
• Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
• Graduate School (as of April 13)
Faculty, students, staff, parents, and other groups with Princeton user accounts are welcome to use the Princeton Service Portal. By using your credentials to log in to the portal, you can personalize your experience.
New Service Notifications
When you use the Princeton Service Portal or send a message to departmental email addresses within these groups, you will receive confirmation that your request or inquiry was received. This email will include a link that you can use to track up-to-date progress. You will also receive notifications as the team works to fulfill your request or inquiry.
We look forward to hearing your input as we continue to build on this important foundation. I encourage you to write to me directly with any feedback or questions.
