Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans

 

Honorific Fellowships - The Graduate school offers via annual competition (by nomination only) a limited number of Honorific fellowships to graduate students in their last year of graduate school. The fellowships consist of full tuition and a (taxable) stipend  for the ten-month academic year.

Ray Grimm Memorial Prize in Computational Physics - This award, established in May 1985 by the many friends of Ray Grimm and Cray Research, Inc., is for an advanced (post-generals) graduate student(s) at Princeton University who has demonstrated significant achievement in computational physics.  This prize is awarded via annual competition by nomination only.

CGS/UMI (University Microfilms International) Distinguished Dissertation Awards - This award carries an honorarium of $1000 and travel expenses to the presentation ceremony.

Joseph Taylor Fellowship - Through a generous gift from Prof. Taylor the Physics department awards the Joseph H. Taylor Graduate Student Fellowship annually to a different physics graduate student.  The Taylor Fellowship comes with a $2000 research fund.  Fellowship recipients

Teaching Awards- The physics department offers teaching awards to those who have been outstanding AIs in courses.  This award is by nomination only, and it is offered to up to five students once an academic year. Recipients 2020/2021.

The Physics Compton Fund is a Graduate Student travel fund that reimburses up to $1,500 per student per fiscal year (July 1st-June 30th) for participation in a conference, workshop or school. To receive Compton Funds, students should apply by clicking:

Dean's fund for scholarly travel enrolled graduate students in years three through DCE1, who have been invited to present a scholarly research paper at a conference or meeting during the academic year (September-May) and summer (June-Aug)
