Event Description

Abstract: "With the discovery of the Higgs boson by the ATLAS and CMS experiments in 2012, the fundamental question “Does the Higgs boson exist?” was replaced by “Is it really the Higgs boson of the standard model?”. In 2017, the observation of Higgs boson decays to tau leptons with a rate compatible with that expected in the standard model established the existence of Yukawa interactions. Precision measurements have not revealed any hint for the presence of anomalous couplings of the Higgs boson so far, and all searches for exotic Higgs boson decays have led to null results. In this talk I will present a few milestones on the way to the characterization of the exact nature of the Higgs boson."
