Pheno & Vino Seminar, Fiorenza Donato, U of Torino, "Dark matter and the cosmic radiation"
Tue, Apr 19, 2016, 4:00 pm5:30 pm
A viable method for inspecting the presence of Dark Matter particles in our Galaxy is the search for an annihilation signal in the cosmic radiation, and in particular in the rare antimatter fluxes as well as in gamma rays from different regions of sky. We discuss here the recent results from the interpretation of positron and antiproton data…
Pheno & Vino Seminar, Csaba Csaki, Cornell, "Displaced Higgs decays and flavor bounds in twin Higgs models"
Tue, Jan 19, 2016, 4:00 pm5:30 pm
I first examine one of the most interesting potential experimental signals of twin Higgs models, where the ordinary Higgs can decay to long-lived twin sector states, which then in turn decay back to SM states, giving rise to displaced Higgs decays. I will focus on decays in the tracker system, and show that Run I searches already yield some weak…
