I am going to argue that the non-vanishing gravitational anomaly in 2D CFT obstructs the existence of the well-defined notion of entanglement. As a corollary, we will also see that the non-vanishing gravitational anomaly implies the non-existence of the lattice regulator generalising the Nielsen-Ninomiya theorem.

We examine the scrambling speed of random reversible classical circuits with long-range gates. In particular, we ask the following question: how short can a classical reversible circuit be and still represent ciphers that cannot be distinguished from a random permutation with a polynomial number of queries.

In this talk, we introduce and solve the characteristic gluing problem for the Einstein vacuum equations. We prove that obstructions to characteristic gluing come from an infinite-dimensional space of conservation laws along null hypersurfaces for the linearized equations at Minkowski.
