Masayuki Wada

My primary research interest focuses on detecting dark matter, especially Weak Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs). WIMP is one of the well physics motivated dark matter candidate, which might relate to a new physics at weak scale.

I am working on operation and data analysis of DarkSide experiment, which is an experiment using a two-phase argon Time Projection Chamber (TPC) aiming at detecting recoil signals from WIMPs with low background.

As a graduate student, I worked on high-energy nuclear physics experiment (STAR collaboration). My research focused on chiral symmetry restoration in heavy-ion collisions.
